Even Google won't provide an sd slot on their Google branded mobile hardware (use the cloud, you sheep!)
Of course nearly every other vendor that bundles Android with a mobile device does. Some, I.e. Acer on their Iconia tablets, even include a USB host connector.
I, too, was worried about Apple using this patent practically. They could even, then, include an SD card/USB port on their iDevices. That would be a bummer, because their infamous lack of connectivity helps in there being more apps in the Play Store.
There are fairly robust analog workarounds for analog video DRM.
I have an old Dazzle video capture card that pretty much ignores Macrovision. And a newer USB capture device that I was disappointed to discover is affected by Macrovision.
Linux has such an un-even and scattershot userland that I doubt it's regularly built all the way up from source as a unified system in that many instances. BSD, on the other hand (or, at least NetBSD which I am most familiar with) can be built, the whole kernel and core userland, from a single CVS tag checkout.
The MIT adventure game is on just about any freenix machine. It's part of the 'BSD Games' package on Slackware (at least it was on the last version I used) and is a default part of the system on NetBSD (the 'adventure' program in/usr/games). It would be a little silly to re-port it yet another time.

Believe me, if you've ever tried to give a cat a bath (a cat ridden with fleas, mind you, not an arbitrary act of cruelty) animals can be very good at asserting a lack of consent.
Nobody explicitly said Obama 'took anything away.' His being a fascist pig still stands.
Somewhere else in this thread somebody spoke of Obama choosing not to enforce DOMA provisions because he 'judged it would not stand the test of the SCOTUS.' That was Obama judging, which is one one of his administrative powers. Hence the 'fascist pig' label.
Unfortunately, Slashdot isn't just for nerds anymore. It got too trendy to pretend to be a nerd, and besides nerds are too good at blocking the ads. So the scope had to be broadened to encompass other forms of perversion as well. For better or worse, that's the deal.
You're forgetting those participants who bring Frisbee dogs along with them to the ceremony. Let alone that black lab with the tennis ball in it's mouth.
Sadly, though, it used to be a site where a decent percentage of people could tell the difference between a JFET and a BJT. Or explain the reasons for chosing a J-K Master-Slave instead of a D-Type.
Unfortunately, "IT" became the craze, and all you need to feel empowered in that is a phillips screwdriver.
But imagine the malware potential.
For some of us, in other words, forever.
Yeah, I know: hate. It could never be anything less. Nothing terrifies marketing types more than bland indifference.
The Newton never existed.
(if your memory hole is on the blink, just call Central Services)
It's ok so long as it's not a device restricted to only content from iTunes.

She or he probably impersonates one. To, you know, effectively troll that particular forum.
(The only person in my immediate family who uses an iDevice is my 12 year old niece. )

painting strippers with that broad brush
Part of what makes Zip-Strip a useful product is that you can pant it on with whatever size of brush you like.
First: President Clinton was impeached, not nearly impeached.
Second: He was impeached for lying while under oath about his practices of sexual harassment, not for getting a BJ.
I agree that America needs to grow the fuck up.

Supposedly, my Asus eee PC 4G is supported hardware for Android-x86, but I haven't tried it yet. It works quite well as a regular PC still.
Dwarf Fortress makes probably the most rigorous use of my desktop machine.

Apparently Slashdot isn't your personal fiefdom, so the answer is: yes.

Obama refused to defend DOMA because he judged
See, there's the problem. Obama was elected to an Administrative position. He was not appointed a judge. You just supported the GP commenter's point.

Who are you to decree how many ring slots his goldfish has? Aren't you being a little judgmental there?
Tossa few horses, sheep, and goats into the mix, and you have the makings of a spectacle. Or, at least, a circus of some sort.
More to the point: speaking of Taliban, does this mean pedophilia is now legal?
They took that off the title recently.
