I think that is a major error. Due to the late switch from QuarkXPress to Mac OSX, lots of customers migrated to InDesign. They are easily convinced to switch back.
If you include the source material (CDs, DVDs, or Apple account media was purchased with from the iTunes Music Store,) then I would consider it 100% legal.
It "feels" right, and it should be legal, but it isn't. (IANAL)
imagine being able to whistle a song into your mic, for example and being told what it was called.

I agree - the fans are not in use for most of the time, which is very important to me. Of course, using 100% CPU for a longer amount of time (e.g. computer games) brings up real airport takeoff experience to your desk. But my speakers are still louder than that;)
That would indeed be far more interesting than most of the speed related specs. Especially for the iMac, which is designed for Home Theater oder Desk use. Apple should include that into their specs. Noise level was my reason to get a Dual PowerMac G5 instead of an G4 Dual (back in the ol' days, where both were available...)
You can import&export MS Viso Files with Omnigraffle Pro (by http://www.omnigroup.com/), which is even better than that. MS Project is AFAIK accesible by Merlin (by http://www.projectwizards.net/en/merlin/). Only Access is missing, where I tend to agree, that causes major headaches - for linux migrations, too. But since most Access-"databases" are so bad, they should be replaced anyway.
Apple already gives you 30days to try.mac out. I did. It's cool - especially syncing date between devices, and the grandma-ready webpublishing stuff (pictures, calendar...) . But I already run my own root-server.
I often hear: "Why don't they make $X to do $Z like $Y" or "they should make $ABC, that would make it better for me". - But Linux (as an example) is no product. It is just an aggregate of tools other made for themselves.
... feature you could enable...... I don't understand why the default setting isn't "off"...
The apple main market share is between people how DON'T look through menus to look for new cool things. Considering that, most people would never notice it.
I for myself would have liked at least a pop up on first startup on iTunes. But of course, seeing the Mini Store, and seeing what it does I knew that the suggestion were not done buy any kinds of telekinese.

Why do I want it in my pants? My ears are still connected to my head, so I still have the wires all over me.

Agreed. But it will take the same way as on email, internet -> people will have to use a antivirus scanner --- or switch to more secure suppliers...... who said iPhone?
...which will read to your non-IT staff as: bla bla foo bar bla. I don't think, they will understand the correlation between IM-file transfer and P2P networking. For them P2P = napster. ICQ= OK.
I think it also depends on your buddy-list. The demographical variation in a buddy-list of your average John Doe or Grandma Doe should be very different from someone posting here on slashdot.

I don't think that was a serious comment. Moderators, please mod +6 Funny!

That's right, I have the "classic" 2x1,8GHz.

I agree - Office:mac is far better than the windows counterpart. The Adobe-like palettes are far more efficient and user-friendly.

I use Debian, because it fits my needs.
