I disagree here. The CONSUMER is the one that uses the bandwidth, not the content provider. This is the equivalent to saying that Ford should pay for the impact to national highways since their deliverable is utilizing the highway more than other entities on the roadway.
Nothing makes you feel safer in flight than simulating crashes and escapes. I wonder if they will also simulate the cabin breaking into pieces and crawling over bodies to make your escape.
How about taxing the H1-B visas with a 40-100% tax on the salary they should be paying the worker. This money would be then used for a general fund for all of the STEM students at public universities to provide them with a scholarship to provide more STEM workers.
The best way to reduce consumption is to replace the wal transformers with small switch mode adapters. They are more expensive, but they are about 80-95% effecient in standby mode. This compared to about 50-70% efficiency with the little wall adapters.
