I saw your comment regarding different ways to autopatch Windows, and something you had seen where a pc had a custom linux partition, with a modified init. You mentioned the use of rsync, my question is do you recall whether or not the Windows partition was formated NTFS and if so what was being done to mitigate the corruption issues that generally occur when linux writes to NTFS?
If you have any other information on how this setup was implemented, or whom I may contact for a little guidance, I would be very appreciative.
