Now on to the real question, where is our cut? They are reselling my info, with out me (read all the people in the world who's personal info is sold every day) there would be not be any info to sell. Last I checked VAR's bought what they resold. I feel that every person's Persona Information is THEIR IP.
I don't think the issues is with who "won" the last two elections, but weather our choice in elected officials in the future will be determined by some unknown black box of voting. Think FICO credit scores and how that was made to be understood by the majority. Also, consider every application that you have ever updated. Did that update occur just because? NO, it did not. There was something not right and the update "fixed" the issue. DieBold, et all, need to make their money; but electing my leaders, their way, is not the way. If you want to do business with my elections, make it TRANSPARENT. If you cannot make you money that way, make it some where else.
Let us not forget the wonders of ActiveX controls not to mention IE's ability to install items with out authentication. As far as that is concerned ANY installer should have to be authenticated as an ADMINISTRATOR before the install can proceed. I think this small step would curb many of the issues with spyware, adware, toolbars, etc.
The series would feature teen versions of the Classic Star Trek characters Kirk, Spock and McCoy, and be set at Starfleet Academy.
But isn't Spock like x00 years old? So when the humans are teens, say 30 years younger then Mr. Spock would still be x00 - 30 and still not a teen. But this is crazy. As much as I like the StarTrek universe I think the series should be put on hold (remember in the 80's) to allow our minds to become interested in the shows again.

I bet there is at least 51 places in the US where this is mostly the case. Your state DL. or other state ID. Also most Universities use the same type of system. West Virginia University does and what's the big deal. Most give their SSN to just about any one who asks for it. The Bank, Visa, MasterCard, Discover/Novus, Your friendly "Public Safety Officer." Any one who asks, and as long as you think they don't have ill intentions you give it to them. I am a technician for a computer store's tech support center and could have a pile of credit card # and signatures that customers fax me because they "trust" me with that info. That is crazy.
