    oh no, instead of an IUD she will have to remember to take a pill every morning. (about 10-15 bucks a month,) how DARE they!!!. seriously stop with the hyperbole. this ruling in no way shape or form is taking anyones right to avoid being a bad mother away, they can still do that but oh no! they need to dish out 10 bucks of their own money to buy a plan B pill???!?! the horror

    its arguments like this that distract the public from the real issues going on with our government today

    IF this is actually what is happening, wouldnt it be smart to deposit the plastic in the oceans rather than the landfills where the bacteria or whatever is not breaking it down??? hell the ocean may be working as a giant recycling center! obviously real research is needed either way if most plastic is "missing"

    ok. heres a simple solution then.

    Lets taxis keep running, and people like you who want the "security" of using the tried and true method can. but allow uber to exist, so other people can make a decision on their own, do i want to save money but potentially get in the car with a maniac? or go tried a true and still get in a car with a potential maniac, although the chances are slimmer with that option

    win win solution for the people, only ones bitching are those who run taxis who now get slightly less profit.

    i did this in my backyard. except with a bar. I build a bar that had a canopy, on the canopy i attached a few panels, enough to power the lighting, a small stereo and a handful of USB chargers build into the bar itself. I dont have a large backup battery yet so its really only useful during the day time right now, however this makes perfect sense to do in parks, small scale solar is great for isolated outdoor areas

    very interesting idea, I was looking at this issue before thinking something similar to the ways that ships have bars of iron fixed to them so that the bars decay before the hull. Its not an apple or apples comparison but the end goal is the same, save the ship/crew by sacrificing a small part

    it's hard to compare nuclear on the "clean" metric.

    really? because im led to believe that is it the cleanest option out there for large scale deployment at this time. and to top it off more people die working with solar or wind yearly than we have lost to nuke power ever

    actually im glad you brought up reagan. Under reagan there was an amnesty bill, the bill was supposed to secure the border for exchange of allowing those already here to stay. the amnesty part went through however the democrats blocked any efforts at securing the border.

    so because of that, the illegals know they can come here and stay because its already been shown that the democrats are not willing to keep their agreements
