I always see environmentalists telling others how to live, but i never see environmentalists living off the land themselves
all depends on the signs. Id LOVE for highways in america to implement digital speed limit signs that they can adjust according to traffic, like they do in germany on the autobahn. again on highways if theres an accident ahead, or roadwork those signs are awesome.

when 95 came around i was on the net for about 2 years at this point. and from 98-2005 id say the biggest improvements were happening with ISPs, I would generally see increases in my speeds thoughout the year with time warner at that point in time.

im pretty sure that I have wired my own electric lines throughout my house (not all of them but a few ) I never had anyone inspect it and to top it off guess what. it works!
the ONLY one on there that we can say the government had anything to do with was the clean air bill, but even that I live in the mountains, so no the government had nothing to do with my clean air

People on the right damn near ever ask for people to be fired from their jobs, they boycott, and they bitch and moan online, but they almost never demand people who say hurtful things towards people on the right (how many times did people on MSNBC call sarah palin and ann coulter a "right wing slut" (ed shultz~) and no one demanded he resign. Yet if someone on the right did, they would have been forced out by the liberal whiners
its common practice in america that when someone becomes an important figure be it doctor, or congressmen or president, they keep that title even after their time is up. Thats why people still refer to bill clinton as "mr president" for example
its not even that, its that SOME phones still "just work" with older versions without issues where putting the new version on it would cripple it, be it lag or battery drain due to the hardware. I would much rather have a tablet or phone that still work fairly well even if its dated (I have an ipod touch first gen still working, as well as android tablets on 2.4 4.0 and kitkat) Each device does its job just fine.
Now on the other hand all my friends with iphones generally complain when the 2nd update rolls out as it makes the phones unbearable, I mean I guess it forces people to buy new iphones but why get rid of a perfectly working piece of hardware because the vendor wants you to upgrade??
I actually prefer it over the windows release method of every few years dropping a steaming pile on us, than taking incremental updates to fix what they broke

I think it's fair to say that the government is either not telling us what it knows, or is just incompetent.
