    How many people lost their health insurance last year? Id say more than 10 million

    and how many people signed up for obamacare? they say 8 million*

    Now explain to me how a net loss of at least 2 million is the same as a net gain of 12 million??

    * this is the number who have signed up, not the number who are enrolled/ paying for a plan

    it is fascinating how generally intelligent people can come up with the same common sense answers based on the data provided to them. "8 million people signed up!" yeah ok, and how many paid? how many got pushed into medicaid? without those numbers, the 1st number is pointless. Anyone with any shed of intelligence could tell you so

    except for the enrollment numbers are a lie, You know how I know? because I know a bunch of people who signed up a bunch of times, with no intention of actually getting health care in the end. You cant base things off front end numbers, you need to base things off back end numbers, and thats something we dont have, thats what this article is about!

    SOMEONE is paying for it, even if it isnt you.

    Also you need to take into account the huge deductibles that most plans have now. Why am i, a healthy young person going to pay 100 bucks a month* for a plan that doesnt cover anything until I spend 10K when I spend maybe 3-500 a year in health related expenses? it doesnt make sense to do that.

    the ONLY people who are saying the ACA is going well are talking heads

    AFAIK truck drivers don't earn $100K+ a year

    and you would be wrong. There are a large number of truck drivers being paid much better then IT workers. A low level truck driver is usually higher paid than a low level IT worker these days

    Sadly there is no correct answer to that. If I am the boss, the correct/best candidate is one who I find will fit in with the group. If it is a male/female/ hermaphrodite whatever. but simply saying that there are not enough women in tech therefore SEXIST! is not true at all, it COULD be true, but using just the data points provided doesnt prove it to be so

    about how few females are truck drivers?? or garbage collectors? or oil field workers? or (insert other industry here)

    Why does it seem that tech is being unfairly beat up because of a apparent lack of women? the lack of women does not automatically mean that there is some sexist agenda, It could simply mean that there are A - not enough women wanting to be in the field or B - better qualified candidates who happen to be male.

    Females wanted equality, I define equality by giving the job to the best candidate, not an artificial quota of genders in each position

    see, I find the quite interesting. Why did none of the people who moved into the area take over the business left behind by the white person? To me it sounds like you are making the argument that without the white man, no one can make it.
