I was at the event as an Imagine Cup finalist, and the technology on display was very impressive. The Deep Zoom application was demoed as from the Hard Rock Cafe Memorabilia site, and looked very fun to play with indeed. The zoomed-in bits were very impressive.

I skip all the ads unless I'm distracted by something else. If I want to watch something on TV when it's broadcast I'll start recording it and then start watching about 10 mins in, then when the ads come I can skip over them and gradually catch up with the broadcast. I don't like ads:P
Yes, this is indeed a very nice media player, but I got hold of it last Wednesday and reviewed it then:P
It's a lovely piece of kit, excellent media player with good functionality and the library, well, it's amazing. Good bye iTunes (which was originally used because it had a good media player).
Let's hope the rest of vista is like this.... *dreamily stares away*
Agree. I just need to get the essays done, and as long as they print good it's fine. Having little cash as a student, OOo is an excellent (and cheap!) alternative to MS: I have no money anyway let alone buying the level of office I need (with Access included) to complete my schoolwork. Sure, "Base" isn't phenomenal, but it does the job. OOo has all the features, without the resource-heavy features and icons and stuff.
