I've yet to find any OO programer (C, C++, Java, whatever) who doesn't dig patterns.
I know a couple. But I suspect that this is one of those statements where if someone doesn't like patterns then "they must not really be an OO programmer."
That's pretty funny and I'd probably steal it, except that it's pretty much debunked that oil came from dinosaurs. There's just way too much of the stuff.
Did you even try to figure it out? Let's see, what does "leet" sound like? Hmmm... it's probably something complimentary, since that's the way it gets used, even in sarcasm...Nope. Can't think of any word that sounds like leet. Dang, if only I could figure it out then maybe I could become a member of this elite group. But no - I give up.
When attempting to explain this problem I've had the most success with:
If you trade, the only time you don't get the car is when you picked it in the first place, which was obviously a 1/3 chance. So trading gets the car 2/3 of the time.
No, there has to a stipulation as to the minimum number of muddied foreheads. Otherwise there's information to be had from seeing the other kids, and so no way to reason it out.
If at least one kid is known to have mud, then if a kid sees exactly one muddied forehead then he knows his is also muddy, because if it weren't then the muddied kid he sees would see two kids without mud and know that he is the one. Since he's not saying anthing, he doesn't see two clean foreheads.
I imagine at this point in time slashdot readers are more likely than the average person to own a tivo. This means that the data will be skewed, and that the future of network television could have a heavy slashdot influence.
This is really good. Or maybe it's worst thing that could possibly happen.
This is very clever on AMD's part.
By moving the Athlon line to the 266 DDR EV6 bus, AMD now can increase overall system performance and finally take full advantage of PC133 SDRAM and PC2100 DDR, something which Intel has not as yet been able to do. AMD is also mimicking (almost mocking, in fact) Intel's now standard move of continuing to produce 200 MHz DDR processors in higher and higher speeds.
I am so glad that I live in a world where a persons intelligence can so adequatly be judged by an AC reading one comment that I wrote in an off hand moment of boredom.
So then do you agree that the post was moronic, and attribute that fact to your earlier boredom? If instead you defend your post, then why offer the excuse?
Add two clouds together, how many clouds do you have?
Now you're just playing word games. You're actually saying "blend" or "Merge" but you're saying it with a phrase that contains the word "add," which allows you the word play of making it seem equal to arithmetical addition.
in First Kings 7:23 it says that an altar in Solomon's temple was ten cubits across and thirty cubits in diameter, and that it was round.
Therefore, pi = 3, or at least it was at the time of the writing. After that God found the bug in his code and saw that he had written if(pi = 3), when he should have written if(pi == 3). Shortly thereafter, mathematics was born.
Well if it were included it wouldn't be extra then, would it?
Beets? If you're going to use vegetables you could have said squashes.

Talented anything is rare, simply because that's what shapes the definition of talented.
Really? Where's that? I'm in Costa Rica and even here I can't buy a nice house for $100K.
I don't know the exact number, but it's pretty damn big. Trillions and trillions of dollars.
That would be "both he and Gore."
So I'm guessing he also scored higher than you.
You do realize how silly that sounds, don't you?

Right is the right to say 2 + 2 = 4.
