I can't help myself here. The "caveman" as you call him is clearly a pre-christian era norseman! That hair, and the clothing are clear tongue in cheek indicators(don't believe me, go check out Hägar and read a few of them). Further I think you should note that by your own presumptions of the superiority of Caucasians there would be more Caucasians in the tech field then other breeds of human, so if the article is about the backword(pun intended) movement of Geeks and intellectualism, then clearly the image meant to illustrate this should be a "regressed" Caucasian. I would suggest that before you go storming around on what is clearly a pet issue for you, you actually check the context of the article and the consider that perhaps someone purposely chose something for it's applicability and not for a biased attempt at political correctness.

I think there is a lot that could be said for this sort of tech, most especially if the embryos could be repaired rather then replaced. However as a gay man I can't help but feel threatened by this tech. How many parents out there would choose a gay child? Honestly if they could choose a straight one instead? They would consider it just making life for their child easier after all, avoiding that defect. I personally believe gays are an important part of society and the removing us from the diversity of human life would impoverish it. I shudder at the idea of the beauty and joy in my society going out inside a couple generations because it has been 'selected' right out of humanity.

You didn't actually pay for the software. you paid for the key. you could have borrowed any friend's CDs to install, but without the key you can't actually sign on. Here in the US they usually pair the keys to CDs in a box, but it is the key you are really buying.

That is exactly what they mean. Many schools, libraries and defaults on parental controls block any website which contains any referance to homosexuality. Many websites intended to provide help, or even a listening ear to teens who for one reason or another can't come out are blocked keeping those resources from the people who need them most.
