Is this really news though? I mean, I've always been one to figure things out slowly, but even I realized when I signed up for my very first email account back when I was 14 that the answers to those questions was common knowledge to a rather large group of people.
I've always used a variety of nonsense words for the answers (such as "tiggybup," or some other nonsense.)
Whoever told you that is very silly. I played it. My younger sister has it. The game is simply horrid. Frustrated my younger sister to no end with its horrid gameplay. Thank god the crappy thing stopped working after it got a few little scuffs on it.
I wish they would make some GOOD games for little girls.
A couple other games you might enjoy;
Aquaman: Legends of Atlantis
Drake of the 99 Dragons
Barbie Horse Adventures
Monster Gerage
Big Rigs: Over the Road Racing
enjoy!
If she's in IT, there's a good chance she's a nerd too. Nerd girls do exist (I'm engaged to one.) and you can usualy find some realativly accessable common ground. Be it video games, webcomics, programming, networking, security, whatever.
Unfortunatly, even in some areas where you would think another company would have sprung up, Comcast has almost a complete monopoly. I live in the Seattle (ish) area and if you want cable internet service around here Comcast is your only option. (Granted my research is 3 years old, but I'm pretty sure it holds up.)
I've been fortunate enough to avoid any problems with them at all thusfar, and I don't use their email service so I'm good there. Still, I'd love to switch to a more ethical company.
Any idiot can code sloppy HTML, and I don't want to be any idiot. That's what made me start writing all my pages code-compliant and that's why I keep doing it. It's also a guilty pleasure to "stick it to the man" as it were. That'll show microsoft that they can't create up their own markup! Yeah! Then again, I'm just a hobbiest designer, and I don't have to deal with budgets and such. Still, I take a measure of pride in the fact that I can say I write standards compliant code.
That's one geek's oppinion anyway.
Nobody is going to buy a movie twice just so they can have it on their psp. Formats like that will never work, and I'm shocked it lasted as long as it did.

That's the funniest thing I've ever seen on slashdot. Ever.
