As far as I know, google employees are allowed to spend a certain amount of time on their own projects, which might later even be added to google's product line.
If google is saturated with smart people who are free to attempt their own innovative projects, why would ex-google employees pose a threat to google with their innovation?
We noticed a weird thing on our site in ff2, it doesn't cache any of our images. reloads them every time?! these are dynamic images that send headers to a static image. Works in ff1.5. Seems like FF is heading IE's way with these kind of bugs. Or perhaps 2.0 was just released too fast
