"there's no way to prevent Microsoft or Google employees from coming here and posting. How do we know all these pro-Microsoft messages aren't written by somebody in Microsoft's marketing department?"
That's possible, but surely it would be just paranoid to assume that positive Microsoft news is merely spin generated by marketing execs?
True for me also.
.
By playing violent video games, we are presented with an opportunity to carry out deeds that we would never consider in real life. I believe that violent video games are not just effective for "letting off steam" as if were, but that they actually keep possibly violent teenagers OFF the streets. They can release their aggression on the screen, not in the real world. Similarly, art courses have been set up in some disadvantages areas to keep graffiti artists from destroying public property.
"Can someone explain why I need to by a $300 radio to listen to something that is not perceptibly different?
At any rate it seems like another way to fleece the public."
I totally agree. Until sometime as I NEED a digital radio (ie, when/if AM stations are slowly phased out), I think I'll stick to a regular radio receiver. The supposed increase in quality is negligible, and in my opinion, definitely not worth the money.
I'll hold out for as long as I can.
