The global climate - like stocks - are cyclical, volatile, and generally unpredictable despite the deceiving patterns we see drawn from inferences and our own biases. With that said, I call global warming (GWM) a HOLD. The entire warming sector is overworked and overbought. The technicals are making it skyrocket, and you've got the institutionals sitting on the sidelines watching the speculators work themselves into a dizzy. I see continued depreciation of global cooling futures (KWL) due to the surge of baby boomers having hot flashes in their old age. This trend is expected to continue into the late 2010s when teenagers and twenty-somethings today, with strong interests in being cool, form a developed market. However we see significant Paris Hilton risk to coolth due to her catch-phrase "that's hot." Long term OUTPERFORM on global cooling -- but currently STRONG SELL due to lack of broader market support.
Don't the conference rules specifically prohibit cameras? Isn't Dateline all about exposing frauds (and perverts)? Did she not falsely, nigh fraudulently, misrepresent her identity for personal gain? If you are as shocked and outraged as I that journalists of such high regard would sink to levels that one would expect from Rupert Murdoch's News Corp, contact Michelle and let her know how you feel! "One would hope an international criminal mastermind could do better than the encryption built into Vista." I'm sure plenty of criminal masterminds already use PGP or GnuPG. Supposedly even using encryption can be deemed "criminal intent" in Minnesota. So naturally criminals must be using it. Right?
Interesting. I was about to reply and "correct" you, saying that American Express Blue already offers the protection of using your physical card as a second security factor. In fact, I even have the smart card reader that American Express was giving out for free (I wasn't even a cardholder). However, it seems they only offer this service in the middle east now. Link anyway, just for fun: American Express smart card reader
Missed this when it was posted, but NY is now also affected. I've called repeatedly and spread the word to opt-out. Posted on my blog as well: http://ineedattention.com/technology/computers/2008/10/03/optimum-online-offering-dns-hijacking-service/ We can't let them get away with this.
