It's that I have a kid, and if my babysitter needs to call me while my kid has a fever or some other accident (god forbid), she should be able to get ahold of me.
YES, I'll put my phone on vibrate. But if you remove my ability to receive calls without notifying me, I'm coming after YOU (after I take care of my kid).
NO, I don't have perfect coverage wherever I go, and I lose access indoors. But this isn't due to human manipulation.
