I don't understand why they are dicking around with railguns when coilguns (Gauss rifle) would make a lot more sense? Coil guns could potentialy fire a much larger projectile and require less maintenance. There is a difference in projectile speed but that can be overcome by using multistage devices with more finely made coils. If I can build one (low powered as it is, 3ft of range with a small ball bearing ) out of a disposable camera, wire and super glue, then the US goverment should be able to make one that could fire a bowling ball sized projectile 20 miles!

Any way.. when will parents learn to screen the things their kids watch and make an informed decision rather than use the TV as a baby sitter and trusting the TV producers and PBS's judgment where their toddlers and younger children are concerned? Its not a Left-wing or a Right-wing conspiracy! We as parents just need to use common sense and talk about things with our kids. More proof that MS is lightyears behind in the what people want department, Sharp has been making the Zaurus for years with only tepid sales at best. Both the SL-3000 and SL-6000l which look to e a comparable product have done so poorly in the US that to buy a new one it has to be bought in Japan and shipped here. I done think that MS will do any better thn sharp but i wish them luck.
