ugh. while i love my SX-70s dearly and think they're a great camera everyone should try, photojojo is ripping people off. perfectly working ones can be found for much, much less money at camera shows and thrift stores.

a lot has been made in the press lately about the number of (or lack thereof) women in the computing sciences in general, and the open source arenas in particular. i'm curious about what your experiences with female geeks has been. in your opinion: a) are we *really* that hard to find in technical circles? and, b) do we have skill sets comparable to the guy geeks? hessiebell
