Funny you say that about American beer.... Amarican beers tend to dominate european beers in taste contests when the judging is performed without knowing where the beer came from (not talking about bud, coors, etc..). This is also true when it comes to wine. Just becuase most people outside of america only know about the rice/corn beers from the major companies doesnt meen that all of us drink that s**t.
I find it interesting that number 11 on the list says the windmill was invented my Muslims in 634 to grind corn? If my memory serves me correctly corn was not known at that time and corn actually came from the Americas after its pseudo discovery by Columbus. I smell something fishy......
