Somebody will have a "Clippy" the must install activeX control just so it can make your online purchasing that bit easier, assist you in searches of airline tickets and manage your credit card numbers online with a single click.
Well you complained about speed you ninney and said that dual core means nothing to speed, it sure does via concurrency. Parallelism == concurrency == 2x as much done as a single core (if well designed) == SPEED which YOU whinged about. DUH.
Now go bitch about something else.
Microsoft is also a successful company. Sure it is full of Managers and butt kissers. Every time they RTM they hand out "Kiss-It" awards and I think they have just signed a deal with Amex for butt kissing miles for all they're managers, leads and various other managerial types.
Can i reallocate that memory as system memory?

ATI's 1GB Video Card

These wont burn the palm of me with my 7200 RPM 100GB drive I have in here at present.
Problem I worry about is reweite lifetime. We wont have to defrag would we as the read time from any location is constant from any memory address, correct?
Its a great step however I can see HYBRID drives being big news rather than 100% SSD except on "web tablets comebacks" and Viao type devices. For the power munchers here with Ferrari's Hybrids would be welcome.
I can only get ATI 4.x to work modded on my Acer 9700 Ferrari, the 6.x drivers mod but do not work, BLANK SCREEN.
And anyway, that only fixes the effect, not the cause.
Why do ATI give Mobile chipsets the finger? Acer is one OEM that is not supported in their mobility, why can NV provide Unified driver sets and ATI cannot, is it too technical for ATI?
ATI as usual, let down their end users by drivers in favour of OEM's. Money from OEM's, Finger to the end user.
My next laptop is a dual core AMD but most likely they will be ATI mobility chipsets and as such if it is Acer im screwed out of the box.
Did he get banned from WoW?
Just reverse the polarity :)
And dont forget about all those holes http://it.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=06/03/23/180 255&from=rss

Omega makes some games not work, Tribes 2 for example :)
Its called "Europe" but I just wish the stinky USA/US/Aus rogue nations would keep theyre fingers out of it.

...onto more efficient chips rather than just bolting on cooling to the problem. That goes for the entire processor industry too.
