I saw other people complaining about the same thing... Adblock saves me from such things... you should check it out (assuming you're running firefox of course... but of course you are!)
yeah i know the hub bub with Clinton was the lying part, but Bush broke the law all the same (wiretapping phones [and now wiretapping net connects]). Seems to me that the law is the law, and if youre going to put laws on a scale, Bush tips it over.
As horrible as this is, i'm really not so surprised. However, what concerns me even more is the fact that noone will do anything. There won't be any public outcry. There will be no protests demanding the return of our constitutional rights. Of course we all know this isn't the first time this sort of thing has happened. I find it horrific that our previous president went to trial for receiving 'oral service' from a woman while our current one is pretty much destroying all of our civil rights and noone seems to care.
Very short article, and i honestly dont care too much about sapphire, but it was very refreshing to read an interview that wasnt essentially an advertisement. The man actually answered the questions... a rare thing indeed.
While I do find this whole 'fibs' thing interesting, I wonder whats to stop people from using any methodical mathematics to create 'poetry'. The idea just seems irrelevant to me.
sigh, when will these people learn that the net is in no way stagnant... as any long time user of these communities will tell you, dont expect any of them to be around for too long. instead of trying to play catch up with their competitors online, these large corporations should instead try to innovate (gasp!!) and perhaps start a new trend online. only then can they gain a real foothold.
trust me... as soon as facebook becames 'corporate' people will flee from it.
So let me get this straight... this guy hosts an NTP server and is pissed because... its being used as an NTP server?

Patent craziness. Someone should just patent the idea of patenting and get it over with.

Did you ever stop to think that honesty isn't such a bad personal trait?

Seems like someone needs to actually go to the sun and take some samples. its hot, but hell... all for the sake of science right.
Damn... i was hoping AOL would win that deal. *shakes fist
