here is a cheaper easier way to prevent a person form taking over a plan. it may be old school but some times low tech is better...
a metal wall dividing the pilots from the passengers. give them a separate "door" to the out side. (not a door to the cabin)
Thus making it impossible for them to seize the plane. they might be able to take a hostage at most, but at least a steerable missile(the plane) would be not be in there control.

i fail to see why sex is being made out as a bad thing, humans have sex. sex=life. its a normal biological function. trying to detur it may cause more problems then prevent. my vote it on married couple temas to mars. that way sex is not the responsibility of NASA but instead an issue tht a marrried couple deals with.

From what i remember from a tour in national semi. I was told that on a waffer of silicon they would etch several hundred numebr of chips, of which a certin precentage of of chips will have a defect(which are detected by laser optical scanners), due to the qty of transisotrs they are trying to squeeze in a square inch. so if one transistor is bad they just lost the entire chip for that transitor. (and if to many chips are lost they just toss the whole waffer)
with the stacking method you dont have to make an the entire chip on the same peice of silicon. now you can partition the chip onto two seperate dyes then "lego" assemble working halfs.
you could see a yeild increase as much as 25% depending on sition(if not more) because your only tossing defective partitions.
thus reducing overal costs (probably enough to offset the amount to change to the lego method)
ahh but a dvd is a consumer based good, what about non consumer based goods, a company I worked for a few years ago, produced widgets for elelctronic factories in china, because the increase in minumum wage we were forced to move the company out side the US. for one simple reason our price per widget was to high. And It was done for one specific reason , to free ourseleves of the US labor. I know this, because it was my desision. It may not be the noblest of moves, but atleast i will admit it. So i will settle this dispute....... offshoring takes away amarican jobs.

first, If apple should fall on hard times agian, they now the only place they can go for help.
