I feel like I've been treated with all the humanity of a pirate pork chop run through a meat grinder. The RIAA doesn't give a rat's ass about the lives they're affecting with their lawsuits, and they won't actually negotiate settlements. The way they treat settlements like an ultimatum is only going to alienate the very people that are most interested in music and, likely, some of their best customers. Not only does it show a lack of compassion, it just makes bad business sense.
