    What are the odds that a new owner would continue the same financial returns as the founder, and that the market will stay "hot" for the next 10 years? If they aren't at least 50/50 - sell it now, because you're risking losing more money. A bird in the hand is usually worth more than 2 in the bush...

    Huh? He's giving up his job as soon as possible - meaning someone else can move into the workforce. How is that, in any way, bad?

    RTFA - down the page you'll see dozens of airlines listed with premium economy. And two that are not. I'd call that the norm, not the exception.

    Why? It's better (efficiency, scheduling) to have a single, larger flight replace 3-4 smaller flights. And it's safer as well.

    Offering premium economy is the norm rather than the exception. Most airlines offer a bigger seat/more leg room without the extra "package" of business/first class.

    Pretty much every airline offers larger seats, in Economy Plus or business/first class. Oh, don't want to pay that? Then you just made the GP's case.

    Or it works great. I fly - a LOT - for work. Delta 2+MM mile flier here, who averages 200K miles per year. I rarely buy anything but economy seats on domestic flights - and Delta is VERY good about making sure I almost always get at least Economy Plus upgrades, if not business/first upgrades, for free. They have a great program for regular travelers, and that is capitalism at work. Adding other benefits that attract people and promote brand loyalty.

    No, you end up needing 2-3 times the number of flights of a Q400 to equal a 737. And that means twice the number of takeoffs and landings - something most airports couldn't handle. Additionally, you need MORE time between departures for small planes after a large plane as they suffer from wind shear from other planes much more than large planes. So you end up with less total passenger traffic if you move to lots of small flights.

    Robert Francis O'Rourke tried to capitalize on the nickname "Beto" to appeal to Hispanic voters (even though he's 4th generation Irish American). And he is open to abolishing ICE which is responsible for finding and deporting illegal immigrants and criminals - gangsters and thugs.

    Science never predicted global cooling. Do not confuse science fact with Internet mythology.

    Plenty of scientific people and papers talked about the threat of global cooling, back in the 1960s and early 1970s. Do not confuse climate change propaganda with historical facts.

    That's simple. The fundamental rule has always been that facts are universal, opinion is personal. Virtually every respectable media outlet has a version of that doctrine.

    Like the "Fake But Accurate" President Bush reports, and all the recanted Kavanaugh accusations from more of the "respectable media" outlets? After all, modern media is much more critical of the current Administration, and much of the "respectable mainstream media" is more biased than Fox News and the Wall Street Journal.

    Climate is global; Florida is local. Since the 1990s, accumulated cyclone energy has been trending down meaning less hurricane and storm energy overall. If there are more deaths in Florida, it is perhaps due to a 50% increase in population since 2000. More people living in a dangerous area means more deaths.

    Not in California. By law, all timber harvests in California on public OR private lands must be approved by the State. That includes how much timber is taken, how the site is prepared and cleared, etc. If the site is not cleared of underbrush, it's because the State of California wanted it that way.

    Not out here in California. We like to spend $100 bilion on rail from Merced to Bakersfield (servicing around 1 million people total) with no idea how to extend to Los Angeles.

    And we like to spend $100,000 per homeless person to make us feel better (yes, we could put them up in a hotel and feed them 3 meals a day AND provide free education and healthcare for that amount - but we'll spend it keeping them on the streets because "compassion").

    We know how to waste a massive amount of money here in California because hey - tech money! Silly-con Valley mentality abour funding runs strong in Sacramento, too...

    Acres burned were dropping until the 1990s (when climate change was, you know, happening). Then harvesting of timber in California dropped dramatically in the mid 1990s, and we see an uptick in fire coverage - mainly driven by California.

    Coincidence or causation? Well, given that California has a record amount of dead trees out there, it's not a big leap to say that reduced harvesting is a problem. And given that lots of people in CA believe logging dead trees is bad, we shouldn't be surprised at the fuel - and subsequent fire - increase happens.

    THAT is how you cite your argument. Simple, see?

    Nope. Turns out it is inefficient, and not only causes widespread ecosystem disruption (farmed forest lands), it demands lots of power to transport those wood pellets from the US to the UK.

    Looks like there were lots of potentially fraudulent votes, but nobody could show that they were in-person. It doesn't matter who is on the voter rolls if malicious or incompetent officials screw it up.

    Correct! So require proof of citizenship when you register, and proof of ID when you vote. We have to show equivalent levels of documentation when we exercise constitutional rights (2A for example), why not for voting?

    The USA and Canada provide over 80% of the biomass burnt. The UK is around 0.7%. Literally the single biggest source of "renewable" energy in the UK is burning North American wood.

    I don't know how much time you've spent offshore, but sea spray is highly corrosive and requires constant maintenance to keep things made of metal and carbon fiber and fiberglass from literally falling apart in a matter of a few years.

    Renewables in the UK were about 30% of electric generation; natural gas, oil and coal were about 52% of generation. And for those renewables? The largest portion was bioenergy - the burning of (predominantly) imported wood pellets to power turbines. Onshore wind was second-place. So first place is still evil fossil fuels, second place is burning trees imported from abroad, and then we're down to onshore wind...
