It's still possible to get roasted peanuts on Southwest. Though since they recommend you bring your own food on Southwest you could just bring your own peanuts.
detentions/suspensions?
I've done a few defamatory things in my youth against other classmates and teachers. In the instances that I was caught, I just got a couple days of in-school suspension. That sucked enough that I didn't do it again until I transferred to a new school.
This nation's policy of litigate first, ask questions later is really getting out of hand.
This is the natural bane of the early adopter. Any reasonably complex system generally doesn't work properly the first time out. That's why there are product recalls, 2nd+ revisions, and service packs. People who can afford to be guinea pigs for companies will.
Those of us who can't will wait for next year's Cirque de Steve and will get the new and improved, and with considerably fewer kinks, Apple product.
I don't think he meant H5N1 specifically. On average, 36,000 people die from whatever flu strain happens to be in season during a particular year. In the case of another strain of flu which may or may not have a higher mortality rate than the everyday flu, such is the case with H5N1, then it is likely that you'll either see those same numbers or a considerable jump in the number of flu-related deaths in the U.S.
Your example is slightly flawed as mysql_query doesn't allow the execution of multiple sql queries by default. And if you enable it for some reason, then chances are you think you know what you are doing.
Do you fly Southwest?
Southwest has made it quite public that their employees come first, their customers come second, and their shareholders come in at a distant third. Southwest doesn't have any problems telling their customer that they are wrong. In the new service-based economy, ensuring that the needs of your service providers (employees) are adequately satisfied is key. Why do you think Southwest has the lowest customer complaint score of any airline in the country? Why do you think they have one of the lowest turnover rates in their industry? It's not because of the pay.
So just because a company says they put their customers second doesn't mean they don't care about their customers.

Personally, I want my own life size Megadeuce.
