It is usually IT wannabees who think they are well trained in the IT field, for the simple fact they have a "certification", that end up calling the users idiots. They are frightened by the fact that they are barely capable of understanding the basics of their jobs and are one step from the unemployment line.
The older, far more wise and seasoned professionals usually don't call the end users idots, they just refer to the junior admin staff as idots.
