  1. Learning to operate a machine without instructions on Bringing Science and Math Into Writing? · · Score: 1

Learning to operate a machine without instructions is an endeavour where the scientific method will become very handy. Sure, the machine itself might be technology; but your hopefully systematic attempts to learn about it are science, or at least they better be if you want to have success. WOW, most of the machine instructions come from translations of Japaneses or some other asian country. I am 75 years old now, and the memory of Grade School and High School is fading fast. My teachers after Grade School were very quick to pass over my questions.So..... I left school and joined the Army. All I wanted at that age was to be a "Grown up" and lead my own life. Later in life I attended Graduate School at Ohio State University and have a 60's plus thirst for learning. OH, that I could have had it as a child. Creationism is falsifiable. The Genesis creation story makes some very specific claims about the way everything was created which should have predictable effects on the fossil record.

Neither the Creation Theory nor the Evolution Theory exclude one another. It is only those on both sides of the theories that exclude the other. Is it not interesting that both sides choose to allow emotion to enter into their arguments.
GO BACK TO THE EVIDENCE FOLKS!

The Bible does NOT say the earth is only 5000 or 6000 years old. The Bible does NOT say a day is 24 hours. Both issues are silent.

The Evolution Theory does NOT say that all this began from an accidental spark to ignite the Big Bang. The Evolution Theory does NOT say how it all started. Both issues are silent.

I guess it is not strange that the SEC is moving slowley, or not at all. i too have gmail and their spam stop programs gets a lot of it. i had over 6000 spams in my spam folder last month, and getting about the same this month. what seems to be beyound me, is why the SEC or and Agency cannot go after the compaines that support these spammers. i mean i get spam offers from BIG corporations..oh well.

  4. Nothing is said? on Google's China Problem · · Score: 1

Nothing is said about who is providing China with the technology to find (in China's opinion) internet abusers. All this publicity over Google leaves me cold when the REAL story is NOT told.
