"Rinse, repeat ad infinitum." - that is the most salient point. it seems since computers made making music easier, its become easier to repeat The old "ooo look that worked, lets copy it" scenario from old still applies today but so much more of it comes out today - its too easy for the talentless to make a record
"I'd like to see reuse of "grey water" become commonplace or even required. Most water could be reused in the toilet for example. Most "washers" (be they people, clothes, dishes, etc) are used to flush away contaminants, but then we don't bother to filter and reuse the water, we just dump it just like it is right down the drain, which is a huge waste."
doesn't matter where the nuclear waste comes from, its still toxic and it being around is an accident waiting to happen so its a potential danger for a very long time.
"There's no good way to recycle rechargeable batteries, small amount of copper and other metals, either. " are you sure about that, there are companies out there doing just that.

"Spoil the pristine waters or some BS?" it will certainly spoil it all if there is a catastrophic disaster with a nuclear plant, radio active waters and all fishing stocks contaminated forever more would be an issue.
It is showing that renewable power generation is on the increase, i don't know why people expect it to be close to 100% overnight when it still a new and developing technology - some places still don;t even have fossil fuel power generation after a few hundreds years of it being around.
"The government of Taiwan has embarked on an ambitious plan to embrace the renewable energy revolution. As part of President Tsai Ing-wen’s plan to phase out nuclear power plants and reduce the use of fossil fuels, the government intends to invest as much as $56.6 billion, and to raise the percentage of renewable energy in Taiwan’s energy mix to between 20% and 25%. one bomb on a nuclear plant would suffice to power down the island, much easier than trying to take out millions of distributed power sources
