What's more, we're working on getting libCEC to support the built in CEC support so you won't need the USB - CEC Adapter to get built in remote control support!
For anyone wondering, the whole implementation will be open source, so you can port the remote to work on any other media centre, Myth, Plex, Boxee (if they want!)
Did anyone else notice that the article linked to is even by slashdot standards, 'old news' July 6th 1999. I think with wikipedia and better knowledge distribution systems this survey would be very different now.
The thing is, designer 3D glasses are still avoiding the underlying issue that its a hack on the eye.
The real issue is not stereoscopic picture but accomodation of the eye. The eye is not being strained to adjust to the varying depth and that causes headaches as your brain is not used to it.
While some autostereoscopic displays are emerging such as the Ninentdo 3DS, displaying the source content on a 2D service will always leave you with the issue of accomodation

When my dad taught me to drive he told me to keep my window down (if possible) and listen for the tyre noise of overtaking vehicles.
I dont know about the rest of the world, but when i was taught to drive, I was told to use my mirrors and visually check my blind spots.
in most countries wives use that as grounds for divorce
