It's like saying digging with shovel creates large amount of treasure on treasure island.
The problem's with the people on the street - finding that when presented with an oppertunity to steal from someone else - they will do. That's the level it needs to be addressed at - the people on the street level. To attempt to address this problem at the ipod level is just a waste of time and distracting.
A more suitable headline might be British People - violent and prone to theft (disclaimer I am British)
There are plently of global warming is happening articles, as it is, showing why and backed with science and figures. There are a lot of "why don't "normal" people seem to get it?" articles too. Which comes down to the same reason they believe in the Theory of Evolution, it's much much easier to sell simple concepts to people.

This gives opportunity to correct errors (doesn't happen much) and more importantly help stem the tide of dupes. I replied, told them "DUPE, BIG TIME", but alas. Well I live in rural Japan and public transport here is excellent. Cheap, clean, reliable and convienent. Many more people cycle here too, than back in the UK.
