Come this christmas sony will be racing to meet demand while 360's will be flying off the shelves. With an estimated cost of $1k per unit 2 million in sales sony will be $1 billion in debt.

How hard would it be to deploy a tether on the moon and be able to pick up and move a lander?
The gravity on the moon is obviously less, so the strength requirements of the rope would be significantly less. I wonder if its possible to use a hemp rope suspended from a satellite to move things on the moon.
