Why is it retarded? The material cost for DVDs make up virtually none of the cost... its the content that we pay for.
Now if the content that we download is restricted with DRM, thats another issue, but theres nothing wrong with paying to download dvds.
... if your 500 something facebook friends were all your real friends. However, they aren't, and I dont really care that so-and-so became friends with so-and-so.
Whenever I go on facebook, I browse through maybe 5-6 pages, all of whom are my friends. I dont really care about what the rest of my class are up to.
bills like this where common sense tells us that it's rediculous always pass because politicians dont have the guts to stand against them.
I mean, what politician would vote on something that enables their opponents to say, "well, he voted in favor of violent pornography"

Why are we going back to the moon? What exactly are the advantages... Lower gravity?
If we really wanted to establish "a sustainable infrastructure for continued unmanned and manned spaceflight" than shouldn't we be spending more money on the ISS (NASA's budget for ISS development has been declining: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Nasabudget.gif) rather than on going to the moon? We've already been there and there's nothing new to see.
