Maybe it's possible a ham radio op lives near you and he is most active at this time. If he is putting out enough power he could overload the "front end" of the radio receiver in your device or router/ap and thus attenuate quality signals. Depends greatly on frequency, power, modulation type and antenna design but maybe you are getting the perfect storm?
