    Apple will likely release their own product that would probably run a light version of OS X.
    Apple has always took ideas from companies that have not been in the mass market(Xerox PARC...), and pushed them into the consumer market. After a year or so, Microsoft releases a product that is based on the same idea, but crappier and vulnerable to viruses...
