You know, if it werent for the slashdot community, this place would be a desolate wasteland of information. I have seen so many attention grabbing headlines on here lately, with commentors giving 1k times more facts (with sources) than anything the originial content served up.

Apple was always the first company to come to my mind when thinking of DRM. Do you really think they would let go of the install base for their inadequate music player?
How about their hardware? Almost nothing works for third party software/hardware with the exception of their OS's and even they are under strict guidelines.
I completely agree. Thats why I did not really like the fact that the Democrats swept most of their elections, and now have the senate as well.
As to whether it's a good thing? Unequivocally. The one-party rule has resulted in a mountain of corruption and one - maybe two - quagmire wars. Obviously a balancing force is needed.
That was my gripe with republicans. They held too much power, and the whole basis for our governement was disrupted. There is supposed to be checks and balances with everything.
I am interested in what the Dems have to offer for the presidential runs, but I will also be weary to vote for them. I do not want to end up in the exact same boat as we were in, just with people in different color ties.

Its wired, and it is USB, meaning someone, somewhere will hook it up to PC. Unless its Vista only....

Anyone that thinks/conceives .99 as being any cheaper than 1.00 consciously or not is an idiot. 600$ is way too high to ask, plain and simple.
Thats just lazy. Games are getting larger, so there is more stuff to do. I thought this was evolution.....
