One of the universities I visited used old coax cable runs in their dorms as wireless antennas.
The jist of how to do it was to attach a low power power amp to the output of a typical router with support for external antenna. Then wire the gained end of the power amp to the coaxial cable. You have to use a second power amp (or the other half if has two channels) to gain the return from another coax cable to receive signals. The setup isn't exactly simple.... but it works fairly well if the house gets poor reception otherwise.
In my univeristy example, they used one floor's cabling for transmit and the next floor for receive, repeated until out of floors.
I am a grandfathered in Flickr Pro subscriber. Best photo backup solution I have ever used. Full resolution raw photos can be stored and retrieved at will.
You assume incorrectly that it is televised content.
I work in the IT sector and have multiple remote desktop / teamviewer / logmein sessions open at any one time. It quickly adds up.
My wife and I live alone and we use 600 - 1000 GB a month. And that is a month where I don't boot up an old computer and install/update hundreds of steam games.
I can't imagine what would happen to my internet bill if comcast decided to enforce a data cap.
I applaud you sir on the halon joke. I always wonder how I am supposed to get out when I must be buzzed out by the security who themselves would be running.
Pixar does this strategy, not releasing a movie until it is completely finished, and so do a lot of other sucessful companies. I would love to stop having all these terrible games released and just have a couple really killer games.
I have had vista beta 2 installed for a while now and it isn't that bad....
it is nice knowing that any hardware that is available today will be support without even installing the distributed software. You don't even relize how many people just have a monitor on windows xp with no drivers installed because it jsut works... with previous versions of win *98 and older) you had to have a driver for everything.
I say this because I just got bluetooth keyboard + mouse + media pad and have struggled with xp to support it for 3 days... I boot into vista having tackled the beast xp and it goes... yup I see your hardware, done.... and that is it... I don't need the installation disk at all.
The requirements aren't all that bad, at least I hope all the big companies, dell, gateway stop shipping computers with on-board graphics chips and something a little better, like at least a seperate graphics processor.
My machines specs are:
amd athlon 64 bit 3800+
geforce 7800 gtx overclocked
2 gb ram dual channel
and I know this is pretty high end.... but in vista it is butter smooth. But the thing that irks me is that when going into vista's system performance area it says that my computer is ranked a 3..... now I don't know what this is out of, but it listed various sub catagories and I had like 5.9 in graphics ram and testing, but a 3.9 in hard drive space and processor... now my hard drive is sata 2 and my processor is 64 bit... some now... and it ranked it a 3 when all the number were 3.9 or higher... um what is that?
Overall I am happy that vista is as nice as it is. I have fooled around with win customize and other such programs to try to get xp to look nicer, but it always screws me over in the end braking more things than enhancing and am happy that vista is nice and pretty out of the box.
I give vista a good rating for now, but I am still not accustomed to the overall feel of the GUI yet....
AvE over on youtube did a very good commentary on how and why the bridge collapsed. Video 1 (overview): https://www.youtube.com/watch?... Video 2 (technically in depth): https://www.youtube.com/watch?...

More like breath detector to help skynet find living humans to eradicate....
Of course it was a joke. English is very difficult, but still, a spell check would have caught that simple mistake.
That article has so many spelling mistakes.... relese? What is that?

So I geuss there is more than one tru omni-turner in the world.
