Ha. I predict a suggestion of a pair of linux powered toasters at some point.

I have to agree with you, I too have discovered the "magic" of an external USB2 HDD case. One of my wife's friends replaced her HDD, but she could not figure out how to get the old files onto the new disk. External case to the rescue.

Here's what I want to know; Has anyone seen a BIOS that can be set to boot from USB source? Yes, I know you could use hot-swap cages, but I think a collection of External USB "LiveHD" disks would have broader appeal.

As the name is close enough to Levitra, with some clever marketing people will believe the company can keep your computer up.

There's already a company that is doing this, they call themselves Liagra.

There are things you can do in C++ that produce x86 code that can not be produced by BASIC.

    True.

Similarly, there are things you can do in C# that produce CLR code that can not be produced by VB.net, and vice-versa.

    Not true.

Under the .net framework, the CLR is the ultimate arbitor of what can and cannot be done. All languages written for it share the same level of abstraction, no exceptions. Anything you can do in C#, you can do in VB.net, and vice versa.

    Well, yes.
Well, no. With .net, the language used becomes a mere choice of syntax. All .net languages are boiled down to MSIL and are on a level playing field. Whatever .net language you write in, it's all just food for the CLR. And the whole thing is just swiped from Sun - conceptually that is. C#, VB.net = Java, CLR = JVM
