Reminds me of the Simpsons episode where the town splits along the new area codes-
Homer (after seeing a telephone companies promotional video): I accuse the phone company of making that video...ON PURPOSE!
What?! Firefox is becoming popular? Oh man now I am going to have to use Opera in order to sneer down my superior nose at what browser people are using.
The thing I don't get about scambaiting is how widespread it seems to be. Which poses one of two questions.
Are scammers so numerous in Nigeria and other African countries that there are enough of them to get scambaited without relating their stories to each other?
Are some of the scambait stories fake?
That's too many uses of the word scambait for my liking, I am going for a lie down.
They might also want to keep it secret to protect their image. They are seen as the 'good guys' of the tech world and a fair bit of their market share comes from the Apple image as opposed to the technical quality of their products. The idea that they were gouging their customers in the same way as Gap and Nike is probably something they want to avoid.
Surely your idea that people should be penalised for driving whilst drunk only if it affects their ability to control the car is already in place, albeit not officially. To be caught, you need to be pulled over by the police. How do you get pulled over? By driving erratically or suspiciously. Maybe it's different there in the U.S (and maybe in other parts of the U.K) but here what you believe to be a good system is, in practice, what we have.
I'd have said that casual was a combination of time spent, money spent on games and how generally important games are to a person. If you end up playing two hours a night five nights a week but go out on the weekends and don't think about gaming, I'd say you're casual. Also you can usually identify a 'hardcore' gamer by their willingness to 'play until it gets better'. After criticising a game for being shite from the offset I'm often told 'You have to play for a bit for it to get better' and you are usually talking to a pretty hardcore gamer there.
I second that. A combination of endless turkeys and high prices resulted in me becoming a very casual gamer. I can't think of too many other successful products (natural resources excluded) that have managed to get more expensive over time.
I still think Sony will shift a fair few PS3's to the fanboys and 14 year old crowd simply because 'it's Sony' and parents will buy them for Christmas, however those same 14 year olds may lose interest when they struggle to buy a game every 2 months without having to 'save'. Difficult to see the PS3 bettering either of the previous outings.
I don't know about where you live, but here in the U.K there is a shortage of skilled brick layers and as a result they are able to pick and choose their jobs and earn an absolute fortune doing so. So their skill is highly valued here.

" So yes driving becomes less thrilling for you with the flip side of you and I are more safe. " What a fucking homo!

Nope there is more to it than time alone.
