Why would they be trying to confuse physical distribution? People will pay $10 or $20 more for a disc copy than the digital download because of the mindset that they're actually getting something tangible, archivable, and resellable.. it only costs someone a few cents to manufacture and press the disk and they're making obscene profits on top.
That's a good point.. so we only have 21 stealth fighters now, I don't see "terrorists" putting billion-dollar planes in the air. Just like nobody cares about the navy anymore since we're literally the only nation with any sort of military presence whatsoever in the oceans.
SLI requires identical cards.. I can't place my finger on it, but there's something different about those two planes. But doesn't it make you wonder how tempted the B2 pilot must be to completely smoke the refueling plane after the boom detaches? Time it so you hit the speed of sound just as you roar underneath their cockpit.. blow out all their windows.. holy crap that would be the coolest pilot ever.
It's not like "grounded" really means anything anyway.. if they were actually needed for an emergency they'd be in the air in minutes. They just won't be burning $9000 of fuel per second on training missions for awhile
They want us to think that since they're telling us everything about B2s, they must have like 3 newer generations of super-stealth jets up their sleeves.. to make us feel extra safe and good about shelling out tax dollars.
The 2005 U.S. military budget was larger than that of the next 168 biggest spenders combined, and over eight times larger than the official military budget of China. The United States and its close allies are responsible for about two-thirds of the world's military spending (of which, in turn, the US is responsible for the majority).
The recent invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan are largely funded through supplementary spending bills outside the Federal Budget, so they are not included in the military budget figures listed above.[13] In addition, the United States has black budget military spending which is not listed as Federal spending and is not included in published military spending figures. Other military-related items, like maintenance of the nuclear arsenal and the money spent by the Veterans Affairs Department, are not included in the official budget.
We spend a trillion dollars a year on defense, just roll out a few hundred more to replace it, maybe pay a contractor 2 or 3 hundred billion to redesign it from the ground up just to be safe. Fits pretty comfortably in the budget, and we can always spend a few hundred billion in deficit.
Whoa whoa, consumers have already proven themselves a terrible judge of a platform- buying millions of crazy-expensive shiny iPhones and not caring about extensibility or restrictive DRM. Judge a platform based on its merits, not based on how much money the public pours into the designer's pockets to look cutting-edge.
More like releasing a Ferrari with no ABS, no traction control, no airbags, and no.. hm, windshield wipers? Sure people can drive it around and show it off, which is what you bought it for, but engineers aren't going to pounce on one with measuring tape and voltmeters to try to figure out how to add new features- features that have long been standard in competing models. Anyone making something interesting isn't going to care about how shiny the body is, the only people who care about that nonsense are the people who aren't going to care about interesting features.
The guys who badly designed IPv6 could have used variable-length addressing, which would have allowed IPv4 addresses to continue to work fine and I think make v6 on-the-wire compatible with v4. I don't know why they didn't.
Cheyenne Mountain is supposed to be able to withstand a "multi-megaton blast".. seems like being buried under a mountain of rock and steel is probably the safest you're going to get, if you get hit at all.

Only 60%? That's some POS POS data.

You are aware that iphone location is only accurate to within several blocks right? That's essentially useless for road navigation..

Knowing "officials", we should be thankful they at least confirmed that the crash was caused by a collision with the ground.

Nobody saw it at all :)

Stepping disks will take you around the world in just a few steps..

In any case, we already know the Best Laptop for Going Around the World.
What are you going on about? How does stripping DRM from itunes-purchased tracks affect Apple's bottom line at all?
By the way the additional DRM was optional, and has only recently been implemented.
There are only 65535 TCP/UDP ports.. not nearly enough for Comcast, for example.
Cheyenne Mountain is supposed to be able to withstand a "multi-megaton blast".. seems like being buried under a mountain of rock and steel is probably the safest you're going to get, if you get hit at all.
That was implemented as a 37-key combination so no human could possibly complete it :)
I thought they just spit on it and wiped it off with the newspaper they sleep under.
Get off the vent or I'll have you bent.
The DNS client service doesn't accept replies of IPv6 addresses. If you paid someone to mail you a dvd with a giant HOSTS file on it, that might work?
