ShowMeDo has IDE videos showing PyDev, SPE, Wing IDE, GEdit and IPython in action.
They'll help you figure out which one to try, without having to invest the time trying each one.
Disclaimer - I'm a founder of ShowMeDo, it's all about peer-produced tutorial videos for open-src with a big focus on Python.
Topics covered include Firefox's improved security record, tabs and Awesome Bar (note that the screencast is biased to FF), IE's plugins and a friendly plea to users of IE6 to upgrade.
A great way to learn is to watch somebody else, that's why Kyran and I founded ShowMeDo.com a year ago. We host tutorial videos (to date all 104 are free) made by our users, so you can watch a fellow geek introducing a subject.
We have videos for Python, Java, Ruby, Perl, a bunch of miscellaneous utilities and we've just started accepting videos on graphics programs (Blender 3D and Flash 8 so far). We'd love to have more submissions, naturally:-)
We put source code into the wiki and we'll begin to push the forums soon so that fellow learners can help each other to progress. If you like the videos then don't forget to leave a comment thanking authors for their time!
Both Kyran and I realised that it seems odd that we learn in seclusion via books (and hacking around, of course), yet we can learn so much more when we're with someone who can answer our questions. We can't give you a personal expert, but we can let experts share their knowledge with you. Our ears are always open for feedback, we'd love to build a better learning environment.
Screencasts to easily setup Cedega on Suse Linux

Cedega and Linux Games

We have two screencasts (swf) which show how to setup and test Cedega for Suse Linux. These were contributed by Bruce Cadieux of ItsYourPC.org.
It all looks rather straight-forward, but I haven't tried it myself...maybe these help with the 'plug and pray' comment in the original article?

WxPython in Action
·
· Score: 1
Over at ShowMeDo.com we have 5 introductory videos for wxPython covering installing, a 'hello world' test, a first application, a menubar and simple event handling. They are each around 10 minutes long and ought to be very useful to anyone new to wx.
All of our videos are QuickTime 6 movs, later we'll have Flash too. Most of our videos are for Python and Java, all great for newbies.

A few days back I recorded a short screencast showing IE8 and FF3 in action: http://showmedo.com/videos/video?name=3150000&fromSeriesID=315
Topics covered include Firefox's improved security record, tabs and Awesome Bar (note that the screencast is biased to FF), IE's plugins and a friendly plea to users of IE6 to upgrade.
