1) Become a really clever mathematician and prove something.
2) Solve some mystifying dilema.
3) Become really, really famous.
4) Then you can jolly well tell other mathematicians what to do!/blockquote
5. Profit.
Note: for the purposes of this article, "WebOS" is defined as "a set of applications running in a web browser that together mimic, replace or largely supplement a desktop OS environment."
I don't think so... Where is memory management, where is the hardware interaction code, etc. A large part of a desktop OS is the libraries and hardware management code that no user ever hears of.
That said, all these are is stupid Flash or AJAX implementations that hardly work.
For that to work it needs to only let one e-mail work (so a hacker can't just enter his e-mail), and require that each account doesn't have the same e-mail.
Write a program that kills the process WINLOGON.EXE. Then put this in your Startup folder. Make sure everything is backed up before shutting down. When you start back up you will automaticly go to the BSOD.
<p>Call IT. They will be confused. Tell them that there is nothing they can do. They will beleve you. Then tell them that you need that <strike>expensive computer</strike> fancy new MacBook Pro. They will beleve you. You will be happy.</p>
Which is why I use FreeBSD...
For example, say I want to install Inkscape:
Or I coupd eleminate steps 2 and 3 and just type pkg_add -r inkscape... but then it wouldn't be compiled.
And it all comes from one big central respotory.. the FreeBSD ports collection.
