The article from a couple of days ago argued the exact opposite. It argued Java would not die due to Ruby or Python.
It's not just a backup server. It is a file server too. Editing files in the shared folders causes the corruption. I don't think there is even a way to edit the "backups". Just restore them.
My take on the 3: Sony = quality, some style, no content Microsoft = content, some style, no quality Apple = style, some quality, some content

I had the same problem. Installing the 2.0 version a second time cleared it up... Restored bookmarks and everything.
