There is a very easy way to get music on and off an iPod. Enable disk mode and treat it as a nice external hard drive. Then it becomes very simple to move files around. Can you still watch the videos or listen to the music? Probably not, but thats how the program works. If you don't like it put linux on it and make it do what you want it to, but don't complain that Apple made it difficult when as you said there are plenty of ways to get the files on and off with the default settings.

I might be misinformed, but didn't Jesus free Christians from the laws and responsibilities of Leviticus. Thats why they don't have to keep kosher and such. Christians just happen to conviently forget that Leviticus doesn't apply to them if it suits their purpose.

I think there is quite a difference between hiring a former black hat for a security position and a rapist for the YWCA. Having raped someone doesn't give a person any significant insight to how to help someone. Having figured out how to hack through various forms of security does however provide some insight as to how to avoid those sorts of loopholes.

The big difference in your ebay example and what Fortuny did though is kind of a major factor. These people didn't buy anything. There was no money involved and IANAL but I would think that laws concerning misleading or false advertisments would not apply. People really need to learn the difference between illegal and immoral. As I see it the man did nothing illegal, but it was still wrong.
