Dark Energy is not the same as the cosmological constant. There are other theories like k-essence and quintessence which also are used to describe dark energy. The difference between this theories is, that the cosmological contant is, well, a constant, whereas the two other types of theories are dynamic.
How does this interact with stateful firewalls. As the connection in the beginning isn't done, the firewall doesn't allow the connection and just drops your request. So shouldn't in this case every IE behind a firewall be slower than without firewall. Don't have any window-computer here, so can't test. But this seems to make IE slower behind a firewall than other browsers. Or don't I understand firewalls correct?
My ping (installed from netkit-base-17) just gives a precision of tens of milliseconds. Which version gives such a precision as reported in the paper? Is there a patch out there? (I installed Linux from Scratch!)
I think the greatest problem at the moment is, that most people don't use the computer in a way that makes use of its fantastic capabilities. Everybody tries to mimic the old tools like brush, pen, camera. An example is WaltDisney. They just use the computer to ease the creation of the films. But there are others who maybe will see what can be done with computers. If you leave the old paths, you will maybe find something which can only really be done with computers. Fine Art, in my opinion, uses the medium to show something from a new perspective. Computer-art at the moment just mimicks old perspectives. There has to be an new perspective on things which can only be presented with computers. cu

As Dvorak seems to be designed for english text. How does it work for other languages. Does it still have its "pros"?
