    Heh, I've started a grunt it job for the education department so I thought I should get to know Windows better. Installed a dual boot and my diggety damn linux looks better. I have tried everything to get Windows to not look like it has been scraped with a course grain sandpaper. No luck 6 months later I have barely looked at it because it just doesn't work right.

    You are requesting to prove a negative. Until a EULA is enforced, GP is correct. However GP also stupidly put the qualifier "and never will be"... which can be discarded as hope.

    Then why the hell did my wife's constantly updated computer request a reboot for a driver update just recently? (it may not have been accepted, but it did request it.)

    Rockhampton, Australia: The engineers have deliberately set up the lights so you stop at least at every other light. You have to do 30+ kph to get greens and you will still hit the fourth or fifth light --- all the way across town (population 80k so around 15- 25 minutes driving). In the end you don't get anywhere any faster.

    I'm a taxi driver, so I've tried everything. The only solution is to wait. Yes, I realise that you are talking about populations of around the millions, but we just don't have

    Thank you! After abandoning my zire72 because it had stopped 'charging' and spending months looking for a solution, I have just attempted to fire it up again and it lives. Your comments re SDS made me hope and what do you know? it was easier than I thought. I have my 3yo zire back.
