If you look at it, all the "greybeards" are against SystemD.
Well I'm a "greybeard" with over 20 years Unix/Linux experience and I love systemd (and pulseaudio for that matter). Hate it when I have to use a system without systemd.
Well I bothered to check your first bug, "Systemd contains an unchecked null reference pointer that segfaults PID 1" Executive summary, systemd does not work on kernels without cgroups. Well duh. Don't install it then, you have an ancient unsupported Linux kernel. I stopped checking after that.
What about the contract dispute between IBM and SCO? If it is shown that IBM incorrectly included derivitive works of unix into linux, then SCO wins. This is where the "millions of lines of code" come from. This is not same as the few hundred lines of "copied code".

Also g/foo/s/bar/baz/g
For all the lines that match foo, replace bar with baz
With this form, the equivalent of %s/bar/baz/g is g/bar/s//baz/g
Another useful :g command is g/foo/d to delete all lines with foo
