    * each chapter would have some snotty, snide, holier-than-thou subtitle.

    * He'd need a team of assistants to write it, then when it didn't go his way, he'd quit in a huff, hijack the book title and the remaining authors would have to publish the book as "Lord o' da Rings". He'd eventually publish a pamphlet titled "Lord of the Rings", but it would consist entirely of him whining how the book didn't go his way.

    * He'd be stuck working for some half-assed SciFi magazine with an incompetent editor named CmdrTaco. His articles would be insulting and pedantic, yet strangely void of any substance.

    * anyone who complained about his shitty attitude would have their subscription revoked, instead getting a huge pink sheet of paper saying they're "bad".

    ... it has gotten better each year. i am going to try to plan to make it up this. the last couple years i haven't been able to. does anybody else have comments about last year's conference...
