The MacGIMP web site has the download link for the MacOSX disk image here.
The issue some may have with MacGIMP is that it costs money. ($29.95 download, $79.95 with media)
Gimp.app is just a port to X11 on MacOS X, but it does have the advantage of being free.

Thanks. I've tried that link but I couldn't find a download link (huge page, searched for "download", 1 unrelated result). But then I found that small "get gimp" pic-button which linked to a site that asked me to pay $30 for it. I also searched for screenshots and feature lists on those pages and came up with nothing. :-(

Are you being willfully dumb here? We're comparing it to the likes of Photoshop... see this. If you can download and make it yourself, it still isn't free. Imagine you earn $60k a year. That makes your time something like $35 an hour!

I am not surprised to hear Archei has not provided any support for MacGimp. I think they are rather slimy company who takes advantage of open source software like OpenOSX. I happened to know the brother of the guy who runs Archei, and let me tell you, and based upon his business model, I can believe Archei's business model being as bad as his brother's.

Seems to be case sensitive -- try this instead.
