Re:Why?

Try since at least 1933!! -- 62 years more than you thought.

Re:Validity?
Even cars did not change their UI in the past 100 years
Cars have actually changed their operating interface substantially. The venerable Model T had a throttle lever on the steering column instead of an accelerator pedal. Opposite that was a lever to adjust the spark advance. Most of the other controls would seem foreign to anyone used to post-WW2 cars.
This site has more information. It's in Comic Sans as punishment.

New technology
Considering the combustion engine is over 100 years old and highly refined by market demand over that time, it's not surprising. What is surprising is that they are making leaps like this with an electric car in what is arguably a technology that is still in it's infancy (not the electric motor itself, but rather the underlying technology for charging, and efficiency in a compact size).
The summary indicated it could rival what other manufacturers are doing in the field, not rival a combustion vehicle. Poor wording in the summary perhaps but it appears to me they were referring to what other auto makers were doing with electric cars with the end goal to produce something with 'similar performance capabilities' of a combustion variant. The summary is accurate as far as that goes.
The Model-T Ford got about 200 mile range from a tank of gas and about 20-25 mpg @ 35 miles per hour. It appears the majority of the refinement on combustion engines has been in power, and speed where an electric automobile has to do the opposite and concentrate more on range. -
We are in a Stae of Emergency . . .Therefore, anyhing goes. Oh and for the record this state of emergancy was not declared by Bush, though he has his.
http://www.barefootsworld.net/war_ep.html quoting a congressional report:
"Since March 9, 1933, the United States has been in a state of declared national emergency. In fact, there are now in effect four presidentially proclaimed states of national emergency: In addition to the national emergency declared by President Roosevelt in 1933, there are also the national emergency proclaimed by President Truman on December 16, 1950, during the Korean conflict, and the states of national emergency declared by President Nixon on March 23, 1970, and August 15, 1971.
These proclamations give force to 470 provisions of Federal law [hundreds more since 1973, particularly in the Clinton administration since Jan 21, 1993]. These hundreds of statutes delegate to the President extraordinary powers, ordinarily exercised by the Congress, which affect the lives of American citizens in a host of all-encompassing manners. This vast range of powers, taken together, confer enough authority to rule the country without reference to normal Constitutional processes.
Under the powers delegated by these statutes, the President may: seize property; organize and control the means of production; seize commodities; assign military forces abroad; institute martial law; seize and control all transportation and communication; regulate the operation of private enterprise; restrict travel; and, in a plethora of particular ways, control the lives of all American citizens."
Any chance we are going to get this state of emergancy gone? Democrats will not do it, Republicans will not do it. The those in power in the government will do whatever they can to maintain power. One does not work for years to get to the reigns of power to set them down. -
Re:No
The "civil war" was really about states rights. Mr. Lincoln used the war as an excuse to consolidate power in federal hands and the country that entered the war was far different than what came out of it. Much of this was codified in the 14th ammendment, which many believe is unconstitutional: http://www.barefootsworld.net/14uncon.html

Higher education system? Someone smack that post!
Let's talk about that "higher education system" and how its career-based charter ussurps children by its scheme adapted through coercion...
Has anyone tried their Will at an ol' 8th-grade graduation test?
Schooling begins for a young one, him either male or female; Is usually happy to attend, when curiousity is prevails a choice to learn with similar youth. Every aspect of study is about developing English(default language), Writing(good form), Arithmetic, and Bible (grace, law, etiquete, manners, respect, honor, charity, and good chastity). Up to the 6th-year of study, the young student is a qualified man(Bible says a man is "male and female").
Every manner of comprehension taught after the 6th-year has typically been for moving those three Pillars into Life for blessing and burden to neighbors; most students will have good mechanical knowledge for general work, while others could have chosen a study at a benefice among associates speculating on improvements beyond market demand. Keep in mind that none has become "career" until the coerced "education" begins after the 6th year. By the 8th year of study, there is speculation on a "High School" that is nothing more than a trade guild coerced upon children to develop a "cereer" to an opinion of a private market analysis indoctrinated by the State. The fun ends at 6th grade, where enters a blurry line of coerced education and school spit-shine for one's indoctrination to speak on one's own Will to wit.
Today, Career has become less than a specialty training and more to advance an initial trend and service to compete with the intended competancy of a student, to the suppression of a free mind to make decisions on need and charity. Career is excess, and you can take that to "telemarketers", "credit-card" offers, and related communisms. -
Re:Indian Wisdom: "The Earth Does Not Belong to Ma
Timeless wisdom from the Native Americans states, " The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth "
"And management of the earth belongs to charismatic leaders who can lead hoi polloi on cruscades in their quest for power."
Yeah, I can see where this is heading. -
Indian Wisdom: "The Earth Does Not Belong to Man."Timeless wisdom from the Native Americans states, " The earth does not belong to man; man belongs to the earth
."ExxonMobile and its supporters in Washington state, " The earth belongs to man; he can wreck the earth in any way that he sees fit ".
Before 2050, we will know which bit of wisdom is the right wisdom. By 2030, we will have burned up all easily retrieved oil. Significant portions of Artic and Antartic ice shelves will have melted away.
Unless we do something now to create carbon-neutral energy processes and to achieve zero-population growth, we -- rich and poor alike -- will face a miserable future of unstoppable climatic catastrophes.

Don't be.
ID and Scientific Theory are two feuding commercial parties giving the facade of representing actual intelligent people holding scientific theory, and are intended to separate you from good people. If it hurt anyone that I say scientific theory is a blessing from God, then I wont say it but exercise it in my work. Don't let them spread their disease onto you; Folie a Deux. The proponents of the most wicked changes in banking (government) regulations is the hand of Masons; documented as early as Genesis 4:22 (KJVAV1611); "[22]And Zillah, she also bare Tubalcain, an instructer of every artificer in brass and iron..." When any wealth, be it money or knowledge, changes hands to another tenant (realy), there come the attorneys; Matthew 24:28 (KJVAV1611) "[28]For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.]
As for your thoughts on the Bible, I'll reveal and declare to you; they are not stories of fiction (think Tubalcain, the pleading of the non-masonry Masons/guild); they are history and strategy (logic/technique), enumerated, and acknowledging the cryptic tendencies governments and rules of men have afflicted onto good people (for those Bible thumpers, think about Benjamin and His small tribe). I've studied the Bible cover to cover many times and am finding non-ending and deep truth that supports the cause of those good people not drawn in by the distractions of those two separate feuding nobilities. Study the Bible, you will see some of the foundations of the people that hate you and the witness of the people that want no ill will; Consider how the first and second enumerated bodies (chapters) of the book of Genesis speak of a God on the first six [D]ays of creation and then a LORD God for the eigth [d]ay, thereby the first speaks about the Spirit of God was on the face of the deep, and given that the so-called "waters" were existant before creation occured. Hate it if you will, but this is detailing a Form of creation that intersects with truth and the world. The people that recompiled the scriptures kept as much of the deep in it as the septuaginst had contributed; excellent english skill, that even I struggle with, therefor I reveal to any naught in the know an early comprehensive study in English for an eighth-grade 1895 graduating student at Salinas Kansas.
Continuing...The book of Revelation at the rear of the Bible says that the people are water, and Jesus looked for living water and referred to the jews in the Synagogue of Satan as dirt; sow good seed and it'll leech from both. As meteors fall from the sky, so say many people that Satan is fallen; as wateer from a cloud, so say that which seeks after Satan to saturate and subdue it. Evil people hate and throw rocks, [G]ood people bless and withal water. It gets deeper. Revelation is often thought idolatry by interpretation of the already-existant covenant because it foretells a dream, and much of the Bible has oppressed people enlightened in such a way that is impossible to prove somthing (the future) because the law says to speak nothing of the future but what is Now (today), but they still speak for "concern". It is rebutted that only inspiration from God would allow such thought to be known before its fruition, but that didn't keep people from tresspassing on the original covenant to kill another for tresspassing on the original covenant. All the prophets were thought idolaters Now; if you think calling the people as "water" isn't a hint that the Bible is as though a syllabus or codex to conceal a law or message that had been carried over time, then it naive and woah to you brother! John the baptist had a job working in one of those water purification shops -- purifying water; did he? Jesus said it is Spirit; to me, it is a sacrifice to become a neural surgeon because someone will not get the Certification until one-third of their life is consumed in study. Take your goat "GNU Hippy" to the fro -
Re:America is no longer a free world
In case you are not aware, The USA has been under martial law since 1930-s, when the government went bankrupt and the law was instituted as a bankruptcy proceedings that last for 70 years now. ...then packing the US Supreme Court with neo-cons (and another timely terrorist attack to justify martial law).
For starters, read sui juris by Nord Davis here.
Then research what the golden tassles on the standard mean in every courtroom in america. (I am working on that one myself).
Then learn the diff between the "UNITED STATES" and the "united states".More
America was screwed for a long time now; but it will last for a long time to come whatever Bush and Co will do. -
Re:Article 1, Section 9, Clause 8'Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire Bill Gates' or Bill Gates KBE for short.
Bill Gates adds KBE title
RELATED ENTRIES
From the Ployer.com news blog:
(quote) "Chairman and chief software architect of Microsoft Corp., Bill Gates added the new title to his name yesterday when Britain's Queen Elizabeth, gave an honorary knighthood in a private ceremony at Buckingham Palace recognizing his efforts to help improve health and reduce poverty in the developing world.
Mr. Bill Gates is not part of the British Empire so he will not be called "Sir Bill" hence the Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire title." (end quote)
Now what I find most interesting, is, since I think the 13th Amendment still applies? 13th Amendment in our US Constitution, we could witness the formal and official stripping of Bill Gate's American Citizenship! (I wish as well that we could get rid of many of our favorite attorneys, or law-shark "Esquires"!
:-)"In 1810 Congress proposed an amendment, the original Thirteenth amendment, to add a heavy penalty to this clause by this wording,
If any citizen of the United States shall accept, claim, receive or retain any title of nobility or honor, or shall, without the consent of Congress, accept and retain any present, pension, office or emolument of any kind whatever, from any emperor, king, prince or foreign power, such person shall cease to be a citizen of the United States, and shall be incapable of holding office of trust or profit under them, or either of them." -- from an essay about our US Constitution (Article I, Section 9, item link 69a)
Do any of you think we should return to our Founding Father's American Heritage roots, reinstate the original 13th Amendment, strip-away Bill Gate's citizenship, disband Microsoft, and oust Bill Gates as a branded traitor?

Founding Fathers were Deists, not Christians
The Founding Fathers were openly religious. The practice of praying to God, and not just any God, the Christian God embraced by the Christian religions, in government has continued even today
Uh... no.
The "Founding Fathers," were generally Deists, not Christians. Deist beliefs are incompatible with Christianity. Deism, and the entire philosophy of Natural Rights, is an outgrowth of the Age of Reason that embraced a Creator that did not reveal itself by revelation but through its creation itself.
Let's look at what some of the best-known "founding fathers" said about Christianity, society, and Law:- Thomas Jefferson : Christianity neither is, nor ever was a part of the common law.
- Ben Franklin:
"I wish it (Christianity) were more productive of good works
... I mean real good works ... not holy-day keeping, sermon-hearing ... or making long prayers, filled with flatteries and compliments despised by wise men, and much less capable of pleasing the Deity." - Thomas Paine : The fable of Christ and his twelve apostles, which is a parody on the sun and the twelve signs of the zodiac, copied from the ancient religions of the eastern world, is the least hurtful part."
- James Madison: "Experience witnesseth that ecclesiastical establishments, instead of maintaining the purity and efficacy of religion, have had a contrary operation. During almost fifteen centuries has the legal establishment of Christianity been on trial. What has been its fruits? More or less, in all places, pride and indolence in the clergy; ignorance and servility in the laity; in both, superstition, bigotry and persecution.
- John Adams: As I understand the Christian religion, it was, and is, a revelation. But how has it happened that millions of fables, tales, legends, have been blended with both Jewish and Christian revelation that have made them the most bloody religion that ever existed?

Public schools, Home schools, and UnionsSeveral factors have contributed to the complete bankruptcy of the "public" school system:
Teachers Unions: No merit pay, no efficiency, no competence, just time served.
Funding by Failure: "They're doing well, they don't need any more money."
Funding by Force: A student, no matter how completely unsuited, is required to go because the school system is paid by number of students who are in the building. I was told, for instance, that if I didn't come to school they would put my mother in jail. How's that for motivation?
Massive Overhead: Administration costs continue to endlessly rise, while "test scores" fall, and "not enough teachers" is the hue and cry.
Why are home schooled kids so over-represented in spelling bee's and science fairs? Why is the average home schooled kids standard test scores 35 percentage points higher than average?
To a teacher, with rare exceptions, this is just a job. They get paid anyway. To the parent, this has a *reason*.
Private schools either do a good job, or loose paying customers. Paying customers also means they can GET PHD and guest lecturers, if the parents want them. Private schools, like the ones that Al Gore Jr. as well as most all of the rest of the children of those who make and set policy and budgets for "public schools", consistantly turn out better educated students.
I found a page with an 8th grade final exam from 1895. Read it and imagine having to take the same one yourself at that age. Would you have passed? Could you pass it NOW? Here it is, completed, so you can check yourself.
Want your children taught that creation is fact?
Want to ensure that your children are never taught that creation is fact?
The sword of forced and centrally planned policy cuts all ways, folks. It fails to provide service.Bob-
