Re:The mice again!
i guess the world can live without ryan gosling and christina aguilera if it means getting rid of both britney spears and justin timberlake in one shot.
the only one i'd really miss is keri russell (currently in 'the americans' on fx), although i'd send her off just because she cut her hair years ago during 'felicity'.

Peter Bright = "GOITER MAN"
Instead of worrying about IE Peter Bright should take care of his goiter http://ts4.mm.bing.net/th?id=H... since it looks like he has goiter.

Re:Google made that rule
ORLY? Who made that rule?
Google did, through design choices.
Clearly the idea is that when it's not at eye level being put to use, you can stash it in your scraggly billionaire-beard.

Look at it. When not wearing, are you going to:
1) Put in pocket with keys
2) Put in pocket with phone.
3) Put in backpack with books.Look at any image showing the whole thing. It doesn't even fold up like sunglasses so you cannot use a case. It would not fit in a pocket, and you'd be an idiot to do so anyway as it looks really fragile.

Re:Obligatory
now finally I can run a complete UNIX system without any Gnu!
Tipped your hand here: UNIX predates GNU, moron. Any # of the commercial BSDs are GNU-clean. Here's another option: write your own fucking software.
The only people that have a problem with GPL are those trying to profit off the work or others or trying to cater to those that are trying to profit off the work of others. I know you guys like to post this stuff to get the sdot neckbeards frothing, but it's sad because I think you partially believe it.
You're afraid of the GPL because it creates a free ecosystem and a stream of paid bugfixes from corporations that need to ship the code. The copyfree movement's only arguments against copyleft is that it confuses merged works (they erroneously imply that they are derived works) and that, OH NOES, the company must distribute the source if they distribute binaries.
It's pathetic and intellectually dishonest; grow the fuck up and write your own software if you want to 'do with it what you please'. I love when people like you post here because it's like blood in the water, you're weak and exposed. Free software is a threat to you because you don't create; you "leverage" and you make your money by co-opting the work of others. The 'empire' will continue as long as there are people out there that want to share and cooperate while simultaneously fucking people like you that want to shit on the shoulders of giants.
Gnus predates UNIX UNIX predates GNU.
